The Eurococholate of Perugia in Umbria is a must-see event for all the addicted of this “god food”, which is declined in a thousand different ways in this show. Arrived at the 24th edition this year, in October , the city will enjoy sculptures of chocolate, tastings, workshops and many other activities, designed for the fun of young and old people. It will be preceded by the Choco Day, the usual celebration of America’s discovery, an event that has made possible the arrival of cocoa and chocolate in Europe. More than one million visitors are expected and there are more than 130 companies, large realities and small artisans in the industry offering over 6,000 references of chocolate products.
This year’s claim is All Another Music! where music notes mingle with notes of sweetness. There are several news in the 2017 edition, including the creation of an exclusive space dedicated to children, where the youngest will be involved in activities and music theme games. Another novelty will be the keyboard-shaped chocolate sculpture that will enrich the product range and the official gadgets: there will be the Taste Notes and the pentagrams that will be the new unit of measure for the tablets of chocolate.
The 24th edition of the International Chocolate Festival already anticipates new important collaborations. There will be the ChocoMusic contest, aimed at independent and emerging Italian and European musicians, for the creation of the new hymn of Eurochocolate. The 2017 edition also enriches the collaboration with Radio Subasio, which will become the Official Radio of Europe’s sweetest event and will mark concerts that will alternate on stage in the city centre. For all the duration of the festival, a radio station will also be set up. Another important collateral event will be #BandaLarga, the event dedicated to music bands.
